A Message from the Director

At some point in one’s schooling journey, one will ask: what is the purpose of education? Well, I believe that education is an enriching and transformational journey that an individual embarks on to develop an understanding of oneself and the world around us. Through education, we grow banks of knowledge and develop robust character to ultimately contribute to society in remarkable ways. At Heritage International School, we endeavour to partner with your child in their educational journey as they prepare for life in a globalised world.

Our School believes in celebrating the uniqueness of each child who comes through our doors. We appreciate that some are numerically competent, others are strong in languages, and yet others excel in vocational aptitude. Our teaching professionals are trained to hone each child’s strengths and provide the necessary scaffolding to overcome challenges whilst encouraging them to explore new areas of interest. In this way, our students develop a love for learning and a grit to overcome life’s challenges.

Martin Luther King Jr once said, “Education without morals is like a ship without a compass, merely wandering nowhere.” In addition to striving for academic excellence, we encourage our students to adopt good moral values through our five core pillars of EXCEL+. We also have community outreach programmes that aim to foster in our students care for the less fortunate in our surrounding communities. This holistic approach to shaping our young ones’ minds helps create more well-rounded lifelong learners who are morally upright, empathetic, and conscientious members of society.

The rigour of student life can be physically, mentally and emotionally challenging. We have a dedicated Pastoral Care team to provide support and guidance should our students encounter challenges throughout their journey with us, or if they simply need a listening ear. Heritage School strives to be a school that cares for the wellbeing of each student, so that together as a community we thrive in a positive leaning environment.
